DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE UNITED NATIONS
7 COMPANIES CREATED NEW SOLUTIONS POWERED BY  DISRUPTIVE TECH

ABOUT

Over the summer and fall of 2017, I had the pleasure of contributing as a Graduate Intern at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in their UN Global Compact office which is their corporate sustainability arm and is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative with more than 9,000 companies based in over 160 countries.

During this time I worked in the Breakthrough Innovation Challenge (BIC) which reunited together 17 intrapreneurs from 7 companies, challenging them to create sustainable business models with disruptive tech.

By reporting to the Innovation Senior Manager, I was able to explore the role of disruptive technologies for businesses in the unsustainable global context in which businesses operate today, and I could observe the applicability across different industries including telecommunications, consumer goods, energy, electronics, food, and beverage.
